A 70-year-old Christian was murdered by an angry mob for his Christian faith.
Nazir Masih, a Christian shoemaker in Pakistan, was cleaning up after a windstorm and burning trash (which is routine) when a Muslim neighbor accused him of burning pages from the Quran. Soon an angry Muslim mob attacked Masih, beating him so ferociously that an ambulance driver, called to render medical aid, was forced to flee the scene. The Muslim mob then destroyed Masih’s home and factory, burning both to the ground.
He died from his injuries a few days later.
The ACLJ has gone to the U.N. multiple times to expose this rampant and targeted violence against Christians in Pakistan. Now an innocent man has been beaten to death because he was a Christian.
Enough is enough.
We will continue to fight to save Pakistan’s suffering Christians. But we need you. We need to send a strong signal to Pakistan that the world is watching. Stand with these persecuted Christians and sign our petition.
