Pakistan has been listed as one of the most pernicious persecutors of Christians.
Through our legal office on the ground in Pakistan, we have learned that an elderly Christian business owner, Nazir Masih, was brutally attacked by a Muslim mob instigated by his neighbor, who falsely accused Masih of burning religious texts and pages from the Quran.
Following this baseless allegation, a mob gathered, attacking Masih and burned his home and business to the ground. Despite immediate medical intervention, Nazir Masih died from his injuries, leaving behind two sons, Sultan Masih and Ilyas Masih.
The persistent attacks against Christians in Pakistan underscore the urgent need for systemic change to protect their rights. We call upon the Pakistani government to take decisive action to address these injustices and ensure that all citizens, regardless of their faith, can live without fear of violence and persecution.
We’ve mobilized our offices on the ground in Pakistan, at the U.N., and on Capitol Hill to aggressively fight back. We are directly defending numerous Christians in Pakistani courts.
Save the lives of persecuted Christians before it’s too late. Take action with us.
