A Christian pastor who fled brutal torture in Iran now faces imminent deportation from Turkey for his faith.

If sent back, Pastor Mojtaba Ahmadi will face another three years of severe abuse in an Iranian prison. His only "crimes"? Converting to Christianity, pastoring fellow believers, and sharing his faith.

After enduring 170 days of torture, Pastor Mojtaba fled Iran and sought refugee status in Turkey. Now Turkish authorities have detained him on questionable charges, leaving him at risk of deportation back to Iran, where he faces imprisonment and further torture.

Pastor Mojtaba's life and freedom hang in the balance.

The ACLJ is pressuring the U.N. to take immediate action to stop this unjust expulsion and secure Pastor Mojtaba's safety. We have defended persecuted Christians before and won, including securing the release of American Pastor Andrew Brunson, who was falsely imprisoned in Turkey. But we need your help to do it again.

Be Heard Project is a project of the American Center for Law and Justice. American Center for Law and Justice is a d/b/a for Christian Advocates Serving Evangelism, Inc., a tax-exempt, not-for-profit, religious corporation as defined under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, specifically dedicated to the ideal that religious freedom and freedom of speech are inalienable, God-given rights.
