Stop the Deadly Persecution of Christians and Women in Iran

Iran’s “Morality Police” savagely beat a 22-year-old woman to death for not wearing her headscarf correctly.

The brave Iranian people have flooded the streets in over 80 cities and towns to protest the Islamic Republic’s brutality and persecution – especially of Christians and women.

Over 1,200 protesters have been arrested, and some have since mysteriously disappeared. Countless others have been slaughtered.

But President Biden is ignoring the violence and unrest to continue pursuing a new nuclear deal with the deadly Iranian regime, likely offering pallets of taxpayer cash – money Iran will use to build a nuclear weapon, fund terror, and suppress its suffering people.

Iran sponsors terrorism, imprisons Christians, and tortures and kills its own people. This MUST STOP NOW.

Demand that Congress, President Biden, and the international community put maximum pressure on Iran to stop this violent persecution and protect all of its citizens.

Story

On September 6, 2022, the world was shocked to learn that Iran's "Morality Police" had savagely beaten 22-year-old Mahsa Amini to death because they felt the defenseless young woman wasn't wearing her headscarf correctly.

The Iranian people have bravely flooded the streets in over 80 cities and towns to protest the Islamic Republic's brutality and demand religious freedom. But once again, the Iranian regime's actions have violated international human rights treaties that it has agreed to in the past, as well as demonstrated a direct violation of its own constitution which claims to guarantee religious liberty for its citizens.

Since the brave Iranian protesters have taken to the streets, Iranian authorities have arrested over 1,200 individuals that we are aware of – some of whom have since mysteriously disappeared.

Countless others have simply been beaten or even killed. We are aware of nearly 50 souls killed in the fray, but it's impossible to know exact numbers for sure because the Iranian regime is controlling much of the social media and news reports in the nation in order to cover up its own atrocities.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Joe Biden is ignoring the cries of thousands, as he continues to pursue a new nuclear deal with the deadly regime, likely offering pallets of taxpayer cash – money we already know Iran will likely use to build a nuclear weapon, fund even more terror, and continue to suppress its suffering people.

Iran sponsors terrorism, imprisons Christians, and tortures and kills its own people. It has vowed to annihilate our ally Israel. It cannot obtain nuclear weapons. EVER.

The ACLJ has been defending Iranian Christians for years, demanding Iran honor its obligations as a member state of the United Nations, and provide protection and aid for all of its people – not just Muslims. Now we're demanding Congress and the international community at the U.N. put maximum pressure on Iran to finally end this violence and deadly persecution, especially of Christians and young women, both of whom the regime treats as less than.

And President Biden must not prop up this regime with pallets of cash and give them a clear path to nuclear dominion. That would be a threat to the world and only increase the suffering of the Iranian people.

Every Iranian deserves to live and worship as they choose without fear of violence from their government.

Stand with us. Demand international action to stop the violence against Iranian Christians, religious minorities, and women.
