The New Be Heard Project Website Makes It Easier to Stay Informed and Take Action for Persecuted Christians Worldwide

ACLJ Staff Writers

September 10th, 2018

The Be Heard Project is the voice of the persecuted Christian church all around the globe.

Now that voice has now been upgraded, to make it easier for you to get involved and inspire others to take action for oppressed and persecuted Christians worldwide.

The newly redesigned Be Heard Project website is your conduit to make a direct impact. You can sign our petitions, letting world leaders hear your voice, and make vital donations to aid in the legal advocacy work of the ACLJ.

Years ago, Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani was sentenced to death in Iran because he was a Christian. We shared Pastor Youcef’s dire situation, and through the support and prayers of ACLJ members, our legal advocacy efforts helped save him from execution.

Now sadly, Pastor Youcef has been imprisoned for his Christian faith again, but not before he was brutally beaten by police. Even his young son was assaulted in their family home. You can read about their most recent plight and take action on Be Heard.

Our new interactive map shows every case the ACLJ is currently involved in through our Be Heard Project all over the world.

New storyboards provide an easy to follow visual history of each case we're working on in an easy to follow format.

On the site, you'll find stories like Pastor Andrew Brunson, who has been detained in Turkey for almost 800 days. These storyboards clearly and concisely illustrate every crucial step we’ve taken to bring him home.

You’ll find stories like that of innocent Christian mother Asia Bibi, who is currently on death row in Pakistan, simply for her faith in Jesus. Asia was sentenced to hang for offering a Muslim coworker a glass of water. As her heartbroken children pray for a miracle, your simple action of signing our petition could help save her life.

These are the stories of religious persecution and injustice that Be Heard Project desperately needs heard around the world. ISIS has left countless Christians displaced and homeless, trapped in a living nightmare. The international community should be outraged by these violations of basic human rights and religious liberties. We're shining a light on these atrocities.

Now, you can be part of telling these important stories. The new Be Heard site includes convenient links to Twitter and Facebook so you can not only get involved by signing petitions and making vital donations – which are both so crucial – but you can easily share their stories with all your friends and followers.

By simply sharing the stories and petitions, you can make a tremendous impact for Pastor Andrew, Asia Bibi, and Pastor Youcef. You can raise awareness and get others involved.

Through the new Be Heard Project website, you can make an impact, defending the most basic human rights and protections for Christians across the globe.

Take action for our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters today. Go to the all new Be Heard website and raise your voice: BeHeardProject.com.
